A well worded question at a well chosen moment will yield a wealth of information about an enterprise, the operator and often the hidden problem they don’t even know they need to fix.
Often in business we are so keen to tell everyone how fantastic our product is or we are, that we miss the point of discovering what it is that the other person wants to hear.
Information is a wonderful thing, provided we are equipped with appropriate resources with which to reference against. If we are just hearing information we can easily become lost.
A big part of communicating then is relating whatever information we have to offer, to whatever it is that our prospective customer wants to solve.
