Recently we spoke about whether we should focus on Results, or the Activity.

As it happens, we can only control the activity – not the result. Therefore, get the activity right is of paramount importance.

To do this, try looking closely and with an analytical bent to what activity is required to deliver the outcomes you offer. Look to your procedures and processes. Look to your skills and abilities and question do they align with your promised outcomes.

If changes need to be made, either in the practical delivery or in the personnel involved in the delivery, make the change/s, then perform the activity as well you possibly can and you will find the result looks after itself.

Undertaking the right activity and then multiplying how frequently you do the activity multiplies exponentially the outcome for you. That is – more achieved within a given time frame.
